Presentation of the Designer Founder
As far back as I can remember, lingerie has always been intriguing to me. As a teenager, I was already interested in the biggest brands of fine lingerie that could circulate in the media.
Looking back, I would say that the very technical and delicate aspect of this type of clothing made me feel a curiosity that I could not explain to 100%. Lingerie is the type of clothing that releases the most energy and yet covers the least of our body, and for me it was captivating to see how much there was to learn on this subject.
So after high school I went into women's clothing design to learn the basics of design. My projects focused on the study of different silhouettes, erogenous zones through the ages and the relationship to women's sexuality.
Then I went to study human sexuality at the University to be able to deepen my knowledge, broaden my horizons in society and perfect my development of designer identity.
I continued with a year of study in management afterwards to be able to validate my desire to create
a lingerie brand like I had always dreamed of, presenting humans in a different light.
To demonstrate that beauty has multiple meanings and images in an imprecise, natural and authentic way. To open dialogue and build opportunities to illustrate the different identities that circulate around us. I strongly believe that there are as many sexual identities as there are humans, which makes me believe that I have a lot of work ahead of me to represent them all to the best of my abilities.
It is from these many reflections throughout my journey that Fleur Sauvage Lingerie was (finally) born and evolved from the first illustrations to the marketing on our site around 2 years later.
It is therefore a great pleasure for me to be able to share with you this vision and this representation of what my identity as a designer is through the FSL community.
